One time a very dear friend of mine asked if I would help with making chain maille for some armor he was creating. I figured I had the skills needed due to my jewelry making history, but needed to see if I could do it before answering. I started working classic maille weaves, only I used small jewelry-sized rings. A new love emerged, and "Fairy Rings" was born. I work in myriad metals from copper, aluminum, steel, silver, gold... and in a vast rainbow of colors. I also work in accent components of crystals, semiprecious gemstones and charms. Pictures of some of my work as well as some samples of weaves and future projects will be posted regularly. Please check back often for new and exciting designs!

There are three forms of this I will be providing:

chain maille--classic and historic weaves, as well as hybrid weaves. strictly link work.

beaded chain maille--maille, with beads, crystals, gems, and other embellishments added as accents to the maille.

beadmaille--a hybrid that integrates chain maille and beadwork into a new and versatile option, where some of the maille is made with beaded 'rings.'

Though I strongly encourage you to look at all that is offered, I have broken the items down into subcategories for browsing. To avoid merely duplicating the same items in many multiple galleries, I have them listed as they are most commonly made. Maybe you see a weave in a bracelet that you would love as a necklace. Most chain maille is incredibly versatile so chances are you can easily get it in the style you want. You won't know unless you ask!
